Two soulmates from Scotland, deeply connected, whose love story radiates tenderness and authenticity. Planning their intimate wedding in France was not just a professional experience for me, but a profoundly moving journey that I will cherish forever.
On June 21st, under the soft summer light of Bourg-Charente, Tanya & Sam gathered with 55 of their closest family and friends to celebrate their union at the beautiful Prieuré de Bourg-Charente. Their vision was clear from the very first conversation: they dreamed of a wedding that felt deeply poetic, surrounded by nature, where every moment could be truly savored.
A poetic ceremony by the river
The ceremony took place on the lush green banks of the Charente river : a setting so naturally romantic it hardly needed any embellishment. Tanya & Sam stood hand in hand, exchanging vows with gentle tears and bright laughter, while the water sparkled behind them. It was an intimate, heartfelt celebration that felt entirely theirs, free from anything overly staged or formal.
Their guests, many of whom traveled from all over the wrold, shared in this tender atmosphere. As their wedding planner, witnessing how loved they are – and how beautifully they love each other ) was incredibly touching.

From the delicate floral arrangements that danced with the breeze, to the long dinner tables where friends and family lingered under the warm evening sky, it was a day designed for connection and joy.
They chose June 21st, the summer solstice, almost instinctively: a day that itself symbolizes light, abundance, and lasting bonds.
